Tuesdays: 9am-7pm
Wednesdays: 9am-5pm
Thursdays: 9am-7pm
Fridays: 9am-3pm
During the Spring 2022 semester, our staff will be hosting tours, workshops and events as well as offering three types of consultations: face-to-face, online (synchronous) and e-tutoring (asynchronous) sessions.
Face-to-Face Appointments:
As per University policy, masks are optional in our space. Please use hand sanitizer before and after your consultation. Share a digital copy with your consultant and, if possible, bring your own device. If using print-outs, try to bring 2 copies. Online and etutoring consultations are available if you prefer a more socially-distanced format.

How to Schedule an Appointment:
Visit http://stj.mywconline.com. White boxes represent available slots. Although you are reserving an hour, appointments are 45 minutes long; the remaining 15 minutes are used for your consultant to write a summary of your session and send it back to you via email.
Important Information about Uploading Documents for Appointments:
You will be prompted to upload a document for review when you schedule an appointment. If you choose to upload a document at a later time, select the yellow folder icon at the toolbar located at the top of the page. This folder allows you to attach a file to an existing appointment. If you have difficulty uploading the document, please attached the file to an email to writingcenter@stjohns.edu. We can only work with Microsoft Word files. Please ensure that your submission is in Word format and submitted as an attachment. We cannot work with PDFs, OneDrive links, Google Docs, PowerPoint presentations, Pages or any other format.

The first of the four white boxes you click on will determine the time your appointment begins. Each white box represents 15 minutes—four boxes in a row equals 60 minutes. Although you are reserving an hour, appointments are 45 minutes long; the remaining 15 minutes are used for your consultant to write a summary of your session and send it back to you via email.
